Since changing hands all the staff are just amazing I have been in a few times & have had a few different vets (everyone has been wonderful)Including the reception staff!They genuinely care for the animals (in my case Ive taken in one of my rescue dogs & a couple of my budgies) I cant even begin to express my gratitude at the care & Compassion they showed when I had to have my Budgie put to sleepThey have proven to be the best vets Ive taken any of my rescue animals to.Unlike other vets where I usually find its more about the money & can be so clinical... Medivets are genuinely there for the animals first I cant praise them enough I would recommend them to anyone without a doubt

Ok Mathews had very little people skills. However man was a great vet ... went to him for over 20 years.Medivet.... please please please just Google them. They abuse dogs. Use struck of vets . Use shared blood Just avoid
Taken over by Medivet. Surprised when I phoned for an appointment - no one told me. Kept on hold for ages, (never happened before) and when answered the woman pretended she was trying to find my details while serving someone else (I could hear her!). You have to wait much longer for an appointment than you used to. Rang on the day to confirm and they apparently had no record of an appointment. Lets hope they are better at treating your pets than they are at admin.
I have been going to Mr Matthews for years with my pets as also has most of my family. Although sometimes he can appear moody this is just his personality as well as telling you if you are in the wrong, which he has me a few times. He is a brilliant vet that cares about the animals he looks after. I recently had to have my dog put to sleep and he was fantastic, although straight to the point he was very caring and showed a lot of empathy. We love you Mr Matthews, keep up the good work.
